Not bad for a 16 year old. ;D :D ;)
-
where's the link?
-
In the properties.
-
Nothing but a red x. After pasting the URL (http://k47.pbase.com/u32/mikestudio/large/22246059.Melissasmile.jpg), got a "Forbidden" error from the http server.
-
Love that "x" ! Looks good!! ;D
-
I, too, get a little red X.
Is there buried treasure under there?
-
You guys suck at computers. :D

I was not rude. I forgot to put a smiley at the end of my comment. It was a joke.

I would have to say, YES. :D

So whaat did you do to get the pic posted?

I right clicked on the red X and clicked on properties. I copied the picture URL into my browser address bar. I then was able to see the picture and not the X. I hinted to the properties idea in one of the earlier replies, but nobody was able to get my hint (well maybe a lot of people did, but they did not say anything because they saw the picture).
Then I saw that people were still struggling to see the image, so I figured I'd be not rude and help out. I then did the same thing as before to view the picture, saved it on my hard drive and uploaded to my Photo-bucket account form there. Once it was in my Photo-bucket, I posted it to the website.

Don't be so rude Term, because I can't take a joke. ;)

Hey, I suck at the internet, we all know that. Do you have to rub my face in it?
I can't spell.
My attention span is that of a small child on crack.
I take things the wrong way.
I make off color jokes.
And I state my opinon as fact.
I applaud the half naked women pics.
So in other words,
I feel right at home here. ;D ;D ;D

Smileys, make all the difference. :)

Some websites don't allow picture linking anymore because if a picture gets posted on gazillions of forums it drains their bandwidth and they pay lots of extra money. The problem is that often the person who posts the image does not realize that it can not be linked. Since they viewed the image originally, they have it saved in their temporary Internet files. Once they post and come back to see if their post is OK, the computer pulls the image out of their temp files and not from it's original website. What the poster should do is close the IE (which should clear the temp file )and then come back and look at their post. They should see a red x as well.
Now I have no idea why you did not see a red x, you new IE might be set up not to show picture placeholders.

They do, and like I said I forgot to click on it, so I suck at computers too.
I accept your apology by the way as I am sure you have accepted mine. ;) :-*

I'll have to try this when I have an extra minute.
I hope figuring out the MPS/Dichlor thing is easier than "x". :)
