Title: How often do you replace HS filters

I know there are different types of filters for HS.  Anyone out there that has info on different types of filters, how often you replace and clean them.  Dishwasher safe?????  Just looking at a maintainance point of view.        Thanks Mcmishka

Replace every three-five years. All are dishwasher safe, use dishwasher soap, no heat/dry cycle at end of wash cycle. (Some in this forum may disagree with my opinion). You can use Tri-X filters in replacement of typical woven fabric type, but they don't filter as fine.

I put my Tri-X in the dishwasher with a little detergent and then run an extra rinse cycle.  Far better and no foam like a get with filter cleaner (no matter how long I rinse).  I due use a woven fabric filter on the circulation pump and rinse that one with a hose.
