Title: Check out this Envoy Price
Post by: Anoroc on April 21, 2006, 05:43:28 pm
Ok, so I was going to try not to do this but I just need to know.  It seems like most everybody else includes an accessory.

2006 Envoy for  $8,950.00

No extras and non-negotiable.  I know about wet testing and that is coming next but for now can you all give me your opinions on this price point.

That's a pretty fair price compared to what we charge.  Compared to some other dealers I know of, that's a great price.

As far as not including any accessories, the '06 Hot Springs are coming standard with ozone now.  As to why this dealer doesn't include steps and a cover assist with it is probably the same reason we don't:  there are customers who don't need them or won't use them, why should they pay for them?

Most of our competition will "throw those in just for you", but all they've done is tack on $300 or more on to the price of the tub so you feel like you're getting something for free.

Good luck and have fun shopping!!!

We sell that same spa for $18,000, but I just talked to my manager and we had a lady cancel her order in Peoria and we can sell you one for $9460.  How does that sound?  When would you like it? ;)

Now that's funny stuff. Thermospas should end all their infomercials with that. If you act now, you can take advantage of our special order cancelations.......

Don't take this the wrong way but I think you should be grateful that you are getting full credit for your last spa. I don't think all the other companies would have done this. Just my two cents.  :)

I never felt ungrateful.  Just wanted to get opinons on price...that's all ;)

How are you doing with your deal Anoroc? Have you wet tested yet? Is this their normal price or discounted? Hell, go with Grandee.  :)

We just ordered one for under that price. It included the following:

deluxe cover
50 amp GFCI Box
Delivery & installation
1 month chemicals and consulation at start up
Durastep
1 year of free financing
1 year monthly service

It does not include the opener

It is being delivered (we think) at the end of the month.  :)

Ronald, what does "1 year monthly service" mean? Good luck with your new Spa.

They say they will come once each month to see if everything is ok, test the water I guess. I am not really sure if this includes chemicals. I guess I should ask. It probably does not.

$8,950 seem very high (with NO extras especially) compared to what I was quoted for 2005, and I live in pricey CA.

Anne, keep in mind, the factory is in California.  Folks farther away probably pay twice the freight.  This could have something to do with the higher price.  Not all of it I'm sure, just some of it.

Anoroc, I'd offer that price if it includes the lifter and a step.  Otherwise, I'd try to get it for around $8695.  That would be a very fair price.

Good point. I was assuming that prices would be higher here, just like everything else is ("coast" tax)  :-/ Still seems a bit high though.

You are in a highly competetive market.  Has a reputation in all products as a lowball market.

Also makes sense, as there are HS, D1, Artesian, Sundance, Arctic, LA, Coleman, Marquis, and a few other brands all in this area.
