Looking at both spas. Need help deciding. Garden Leisure from a dealer or elite at Costco. what is the pros and cons. Thanks
-
I would think its a wash. Garden Leisure is a private label low end spa that "dealers" display for free. When a customer orders one they call the distributor and the distributor delivers it and services it. The dealer has absolutely nothing at stake. If these are the only 2 that are available...flip a coin.

There are other choices at Costco.com
Not in the stores, just at the Costco.com website.
Check it out.

Costco now sells a Hot Springs Spa, check it out:

By all accounts Hot Springs Spa's are one of the best on the market.

"all accounts"? There's got to be at least one "account" out there that would disagree. ;D
By the way: "Spas" does not get an apostrophe. ;) (Sorry, too many years of proof reading kids' papers etc...)

Salesdvl,
Thanks for the correction on Spas I was debating what to use and picked wrong.

Sorry, my wife calls me the "grammar police" because I am always correcting the kids in their speech. But when it comes to typing a paper or something it's always "Hey Dad!"
Just remember that the apostrophe means ownership so:
boys = more than one boy
boy's = a boy owns something
boys' = more than one boy owns something.
Please return to your regularly scheduled program... :P

To many it is considered poor grammar to start a sentence with the word "But". The word "However" is considered the better alternative to those who are enlightened. ;)

Good point. I should have "comma'd" and continued on. If anyone needs me I will be at my desk writing 500 times "Stop using the word "but".
stop using the word but
stop using the word but
stop using the word butt
stop using the word a$$.... ;D

LOL! Thanks for the refresher in grammar.

I took a quick look at the garden liesure tubs on the web and other than a few pics, didn't see too much info.
When looking at the lower priced (regardless of the brand) spas, these are some of the things I would also consider :
Are these 110v or 220? (some are, so are not, some are upgradeable for a price) If you are in a cooler climate, I personally wouldn't even consider a 110v.
Cover, lifter and steps included? (once again, that low price may not include $1000 worth of "basics".
Ozone included or compatiable?
Circ pump?

Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for. If you are willing to spend $$ again in a few years for a higher quality spa, then go ahead.
The biggest fear I have with people buying a low-end tub, is they will have problems and then associate those problems to all hot tubs. I can't tell you how many times I have heard someone tell me they had a hot tub once and had too many problems so they will not buy another. When I ask what they bought, they usually mention a low-end spa.
There are plenty of good quality spas you can buy for a little more money and be happy down the road for years to come. Just be careful to not throw away your hard earned money just to save a little up front.
