Title: Dealers, what's in your backyard (Part II)?
Post by: Gomboman on April 08, 2006, 11:32:41 pm
It's been a while since we've done this. There are new dealers now and some have changed brands in the last year or so. This thread is open to dealers, spa technicians, sales people, factory employees, and all other spa professionals who are involved in the business. It would be nice for the regular members here to get a taste for what the experts use. This is a two part question.

Question A: What make and model spa is currently in your backyard?

Question B: What water care system do you follow? Dichlor only, dichlor and ozone, dichlor/ ozone and N2, Ozone only, Bromine, MPS, Lithium hypochlorite, Baqua, etc.?

OK, I know one dealer who is running the Sea Monkey spa on his balcony. I'm not sure if he's on dichlor though.  ;D

How about Chas, 101, Stuart, East Tx, JMcD, Spatech t.u.o, Markee, Hot Tub boy, Socal, Hottubdan, Hymbaw, NJDave, and the rest?

Can also be recycled to help heat the spa.

I am currently with out a spa as many of you know I just got married and we are redoing the back yard...but we will be going back to an Epic and should be ready in the next  few weeks.....All Marquis spas have ozone standard along with the frog which I like. I may give Di Chlor and the frog mineral a try.....which by the way I know I am going to ruffle a feather .....is more flexible than the N-2 as you can use it with both bromine and Di Chlor .....it is slightly different silver they use and it is ground much finer, I am unsure of  why grinding it finer allows to be used with both but the frog folks have shared with me it does.

I have an Epic...It the best spa I've owned out of many.

My current system is the "Oh yeah, I forgot to do anything with the spa because I've been to busy so I'll add a huge dose of Chlorine and fix it later one..."

Thank goodness that the constant clean system saves me most of the time.

I have a Marquis Epic (with Soundsations).  I use the Constant Clean system - with ozone, Spa Frog cartridges.  I've also had many spas and consider it the absolute best I have ever tried.

I have a 2004 Coleman 706.

Tahoe blue with an ash cabinet.

I use bromine tablets in a bromine feeder tube located in the filter, along with the clean zone ozone system.

I love my spa!!!!! :-* :-* :-*

Right now I have a broken down 94 Sovereign in my yard. :( We usually use Bromine in a floater, Brom Conc. and an ozonator. Once we get a new circ pump installed we will have a closed down 94 Sovereign on it's side in our back yard. :)
