Although I have no intention of buying another spa right now, I was thinking during my late night soak, that having removable/changable jets is one of the features that I still enjoy about my tub. I took what Dynasty gave me, moved some around, bought a couple differnt ones to customize my tub. What other tubs still offer this?
-
Mine has removable jets in most locations that can be replaced with other types of jets, although the options seem limited. But I can't move a jet from one spot to another. Is that what you mean?

Yes, moving the jets around till I got them where I liked them and the ones I liked has been great. I haven't moved them quite a while. I did put a different type in the legs of the lounger when Dynasty offered a new one.

Marquis spas offer this feature.
-
HotSpring, Tiger River, Solana, Caldera all offer this feature.
Plus, HotSpring has that one jet which moves all by itself.....

Sundance Spas offer the the Fluidix series of jets that feature a variety of different massage types in one adjustable bearingless jet.
The massage is incredible.
The jets should last a lifetime.

Bullfrawg Spas can move the whole seat.

Someday I hope to try that motomassage out.

I hadn't checked in awhile, nearest dealer 86 miles. ;)

I thought about that when I started this topic, have yet to see one personally. 50-60 miles to the nearest dealer. As big an area as Metro Columbus is, we are still short a few brands. There is a lot of growth in the county to the north, and lots of wealth in the area, Bobby Rahal, Jack Nicklaus, and a few business moguls in the area, I think LA Spas is getting ready to open a store in the relatively wealthy New Albany area. That is where Rahal lives, Jack is actually in the Dublin/Muirfield area.

Which models are those? I'll take a look when I stop in to pick up some hardness up, or whatever you call it.

All models except the Solo have some version.
From 3 in the Metro to 23 in the Maxxus and
the Majesta.

Most quality spas use [glb]Pentair[/glb] or[glb]Water way[/glb]jets. For instance, you can interchange jets from 2006 MARQUIS, D1, and MASTER SPAS, as long as they have the same size jet face.

Dynasty, at least in 03 used Waterways jets. Dynasty didn't offer a type of jet I wanted (3" pulsating) so he got me a pair from COAST. They actually have a COAST logo in a not noticable black. I placed these large pulsators in one seat with two jets. This puts one pulsator in the small of the back and the other square between the shoulders. Its now a great seat and probably nobody has a Dynasty just like mine in that regard.

what brand of jets do Jacuzzi tubs use? and what other companies use those also?
-

I think it's know in the industry as Viagra.
-
I don't know what kind of jet Jacuzzi use's but you can bet that they are interchangable with Sundance.
-
Most all of the Sundance jets and Jacuzzi jets
are NOT interchangable
-
I guess I lost that bet. I worked at a Jacuzzi premium dealer about 4 yrs ago. when I toured the factory it blew my mind to see jacuzzi and sundance coming off the same assembly line.
-
Artesian uses Waterway jets and they are interchangable with other Waterway jets that are the same size.
When I asked my dealer about it, she said no but Waterway said yes ... AND luckily NJDave said yes and I need to get to him and order those stinking jets!!
-
I like the Caldera jets that be changed from conventional to spinners. Not sure why HS doesn't use this approach since they own the company?
-
from what I understood through the HS website, this forum and our dealer, if you want to change jets in the HS tub to another one, you can, so long as the ring around the jet is the same size.....I'm considering swapping a couple of the jets around, but I don't want to ruin the "integrity" of each seat....they're pretty varied massage-wise right now.....
