Title: warranty transfer
Post by: bearspa on April 05, 2006, 01:39:33 pm
I am sure this has been addressed before but would like to know if I buy a 2 year old used spa from a private party, is the warranty transferable, specifically on the following 4 brands: Hotspring, Jacuzzi, Sundance and Marquis.

Others will confirm but on the HS I have been told that warranties do not transfer.

Marquis is the only one that I know of, someone said Beachcomber does but I haven't seen that in writing yet.

You might buy any one of the above from a private party?  How does that work? :o

That's because there are no Royal Spa dealers on this forum. If there are Royal Spa customers here, they don't seem to ever speak up. If you are totally against a hot tub with computer controls then Royal is for you since they use the old mechanical pushbutton style that other manufacturers quit using years ago. Their method of insulation is a bit different. They spray foam on the underside of the shell and they use plastic bags filled with fiberglass insulation to surround the internal perimeter of the cabinet.  Take it for what it's worth but you won't find too many online reviews of Royal no matter which forum you go to.

Our Royal Spa dealer closed up 2 years ago.
