Title: Officially tubbin' !
Post by: anne on March 26, 2006, 10:04:46 pm
Well, almost! Got my electrical work done today, and the spa is heating up as I write. Hope to be taking my first soak in the morning! I'm so excited! I'll post pics, but everything is pretty ugly out there right now. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO :D :D :D :D :D

Tell the neighbors they need to get OUT!

hahahahahahaha!  Yes, that would create ugliness, too. I like most of my neighbors, but I'm not advertising the fact that I installed a spa!

Just finished the FIRST SOAK and I'm so happy and relaxed right now. I made myself install the cover lifter before I was "allowed" to get in, and let me tell you, that was hard. Now back out there to finish garden plumbing, moving more gravel and flagstone..........

The irony of a lot of this is that my boyfriend broke his ankle, so is in a cast for another 3-4 weeks. Yes, it means that he can't soak, but it ALSO means that I have been doing all the heavy work myself! I know he feels bad about it......but not that bad...
;)

It's always a pain the first time but the next few times it'll be a pice of cake! ;)

Congrats and happy tubbin' Anne Arctic!

give him a job he can do from a little step stool or other type of seat...little putzy stuff...and YOU can work on "the big picture" in the mean time....and in 10 years you can say "yep....he planted 3 whole flowers all by himself! What did I do? Oh..I just did everything else....." ;)
Aw, heck.......give him a cooler full of beer and the tv remote....he'll be ok til he heals!
Happy tubbin'!

Congrats Anne!

Have fun playing with all the buttons, testing all the seats, marvelling at the lights and stereo in your own back yard, sitting back and trying all the jets, and all the other fun stuff that comes with new ownership.

Many say it wears off in a month, but not in my case.

I envy you and hope to soon be officially tubbin.  My dealer has my tub in stock, but we've had such a wet spring that my preparations for the concrete base were delayed.   Congratulations!
