Title: coleman vs. hot springs

I AM A FIRST TIME BUYER, AND I HAVE NARROWED MY SEARCH TO THE COLEMAN 705 AND THE HOT SPRINGS VISTA.  CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A HEADS UP ON THE PROS AND CONS OF EACH HOT TUB.  THANK YOU.

Wife wanted the HS Vista I wanted the coleman 705. So we bought the Vista. We are very happy with the Vista after 1 year no proplems. I just liked the colemans layout. I had a coleman about 14 years. It was very good tub no proplems. These are two great choices.

You will get better filtration from the HS and more powerful massage from the Coleman.

One is TP one is FF, both are done well by those manufacturers, so mute point IMHO.

I think it should come down the wet test, looks and price.

Cant lose either way.

May I also suggest checking out the Hydropool 800 Titanium edition.

I agree with everything Hottubman said all very sound advice.....except where he went off his meds and mentioned to look at the hydro-pool....I think what HE MEANT to say was to check out the Marquis...... ;)......( I do hope everyone knows I am just kidding.........well almost....... ;)...)

Both are very good spas.  warranty's are comparable, coleman does have more jets and a third 2.5 hp pump, 56 frame.  all three pumps are two speed.  the key as already stated is to wet test, only true way to see what you like best.  either way you are getting an awesome spa.   are you buying the spa for filtration or massage?  most will say massge, the coleman filter in some peoples opinion may not be as good as hot springs but it does what is it is suposed to do: keep the water clean.

THANK YOU FOR THE IMPUT. I BOUGHT THE COLEMAN FOR 7999.  IS THAT A GOOD DEAL.  FREE DELIVERY, E-Z LIFT, CHEMICALS, COVER, AND STEPS.   DO I HAVE DIFFERENT CHOICES TO KEEP THE WATER CLEAN?

that is a good price for all of that.  you do have choices as to what sanitizer you use to keep the water clean.  I would use dichlor, because you have ozone on that spa. but any of the three approved sanitizers work. (bromine,chlorine, biguanide)

Good decision.  I purchased a 705 about a year ago.  No complaints and I am very happy with a very vigorous massage!
