Title: Spa Start Up
Post by: paul on February 02, 2006, 02:39:23 am
I just received and powered on my new Sundance Optima today.  For someone who has trouble changing a light bulb, start up seemed real easy.  We just filled the tub with water, followed all instructions re: chemical start up, changed the filter after filling the tub, and turned up the heat.  No problems so far, but it seems to easy.  Am I missing something or in for a nasty surprise?

Sounds to me like you got it.  Test the water every so often, and enjoy the spa.

Hey there Paul,

You're all good.
The tub will do most things automatically. You could set your time for your region and set your temp - easy to do and explained in your owners manual.
Keep testing the water with strips and take in a water sample fo testing to get more accurate readings. Then you can make some minor ajustments to water if need be.
Enjoy.

In the 7 days I have had my Optima, I have not gotten up in the middle of the night once b/c of back pain.  I feel like a new person.

I know just how you feel!   Doesn't the world look so much brighter after a good night's sleep?  ;)
