Cappy asked about rolling in the snow.
Not saying this happened to me, it was a friend ha ha
When rolling in the snow, ensure that your dog poo poo is picked up. Nothing like trying to impress your buddies and standing up with snow and well you figure it out.

HAAAAAA......LOL!!!
-
Now I know why I keep my dog on the other side of the house!!!!

Also make sure if you back flop into the snow, that it's fluffy and deep.
One year Mrs. B. decided to do the Nestea plunge backflop into the snow. She didn't realize that the snow had partially melted and refroze into a nice solid block.
She basically backflopped onto a sheet of ice. She was unhurt and would probably have been embarassed, but I was the only witness- and I knew better than to laugh (once I knew she was OK, of course).

From my own experience, fresh snow works better. Snow that has been around a few days, melted, refroze, and melted again in the sun, can actually be sharp.

If I recall her reaction, it was sharp!
That'll learn her.

what out for rakes which may not have been picked up before the snow.

Also take note that when you do flop and roll, if you haven't done it before the plunge back in the tub can be bitter sweet. I personaly think the tingling feeling when you first get back in the tub is your pours saying ahhhhhh, but it can hurt if your not expecting it.

It feels like I imagine it would to dip into a pit of molten lava......searing burn. Pretty neat. ;D
