Does anyone in cold climates worry about their cover cracking or ripping when the temp is really low. I have a lifter on mine and when I open it up I hear creaking and it makes me nervous. I treated it with the cover protectant last weekend. I'm just wondering if this is cause for concern. I live in Oklahoma but dang!!!!it was 15 degrees today and colder tonight.

I hope it doesn't cuase damage. It has been -30 F with the wind factor here in Iowa.
I didn't have a chance to treat it before it snowed.

Mine has been creaking when I open it too..not to worried I called my dealer and he said Not to worry they are built to handle fridgid conditions, so don't fret it'll be ok.

Dang, that's crazy!! I thought the low of -5 that we had last night was bad. Our high of 8 today seems balmy now.

Just got out of our tub and was wondering the same thing while hearing the same noises. That is what makes this forum so great, everyone helps each other out. Thanks for all the great information!

All of that darn Canadian air invading the south. It's funny, it was 44 degrees in Anchorage Alaska yesterday.
