My kids have to catch the school bus at 7am. Usually I am still yelling over the clock radio at 6:15. Not this morning though...The clocks went off but there were no kids to be found....I looked down from my bedroom window and through a huge bellow of steam...under beautiful blue light, there they were. ..having a morning soak. It was about 18 degrees this morning. They got up and out into the tub at 5:45. It was just amazing!

That's pretty cool. What ages are your children?

Did they catch the bus on time? ???

My boys are 13 and 14 (soon to be 15 on Christmas day!) We told them this was the family Christmas present, no video games, etc. and they both agreed.
I think they are just facinated with being outside in bathing suits in 18 degree weather!

Oh and yes, they got the bus in plenty of time. This morning went so smoothly, I can't believe it.

No wet hair on the bus?
I missed all that, we got or spa after they moved away to college.

NO wet hair. They both ran and took showers. The 14 year old has shoulder length hair and had it dried and "styled" in record time. Last night we all dried our hair by the woodstove. I was just amazed at the great attitude this morning. They were so peppy and happy and they said they felt really great.....that made my morning easy...I'm lovin'this :D

Great, that is what it is all about...
Have a good day..

Hopefully that nice warm soak won't put them into hibernation mode at school! ;)

What a wonderful experience. It would be nice to know how their day went after they got to school today. Without question they are a walking commercial for all of their friends with whom they are obviously sharing their experience with. It will probably be the talk of the day.
But, if this is the start of something different for the family, it will make your "most difficult decision" to be your "BEST" decision.

That is such a neat story. Anything that helps with the morning routine has got to be worth it. So...what about your first soak?
