Just wondering, when do you get the most use out of you spa.
1. First thing in the morning
2. After work
3. Evening, after dinner
4. Just before bed.
For myself, its just before bed. I sleep like a baby after a good soak, and the only nights I've missed were when I was out of town. Morning is pretty awesome also, but as I need to be at work at 6am, its not all that often I can pull it off. So far I haven't used the spa much during the day.

yup just before bed, I always make sure I go in the spa in my disposable bathing suit, hahahhah
-
first time was during the day - as part of a jet "test".
Now, usually in the evening - shortly before bed.

I find the experience to be different in the morning and the evening. The evening produces the best results because you sleep better. In the morning, it revs you up to a helluva start for the day though.
It is a great way to start and a great way to finish. Sometimes you even get lucky and improve relationships, what could be better. ;)

Every night before bed and Sat. mornings.

Before bed; Early Sunday mornings...coffee with Bailey's ;)

we use it a couple of times a day. around 5 pm just when it got dark with my 5 yr old daughter, then later with my wife. sometimes also durring the day with both girls and wife.

Iv'e been in my tub in the moringing and at night just before bed. Both are such good experiences but If I have to chose I like evenings best just before I call it a night.
It helps me sleep so good........

Just before bed has to be my favorite time. I enjoy the quietness of the night and doing a little stargazing. The early evening hot tub parties have proven to be a blast.
I can't seem to get into the early morning soaks for some reason. What did I do "pre-hottub"????

Count me with the 'before bed' group. I used to be a lousy sleeper and its amazing.
-
Before bed. Have to get the son down for the night and whatever else needs to be done before getting in. On the weekends, if I beat everyone up, I'll sneak a quick soak before breakfast.
-
After dinner before bed. Let dinner settle till 7 or so and then soak. Sunday mornings are awesome if it's not to cold. Spring and Fall are awsome. Winter is OK as long as it's above 0. Summer if it's below 60.

Almost always, in the evenings right before bed after my karate class. Usually with the wife, sometimes wife and daughter. It really soothes any aching muscles or bruises inflicted on me from class! And I sleep like a baby afterwards!
I almost never go in the morning. That would require me to get up earlier. :P

Mornings before sunrise occasionally (saw 3 satellites and 4 shooting stars this a.m.). A nice cup'o'joe and 45 degrees in a 98 degree tub in the morning......aaahhhh.
My favorite time is right before sunset with a nice toddy.....stay in long enough for the stars to pop out. Venus is now gorgeous and Mars is almost dancing with the 7 Sisters with Orion watching over them in the evening.

We are in the "just before bed" Group. after we get the kids to bed for he night and walk the dog. it is time for our nightly soak. there is nothing better then soaking in the tub with the wife for an hour then going up to bed!
-
Compromise may be the best policy. Since I cannot decide if it is better to soak in the evening just before bed, or in the morning to get started, it has generally been my experience that doing both is the preferred option. ;-)
On the other hand, there have been times when scheduling forced me away from either of those times. When that happens I have found that soaking at other times is quite acceptable. As the old saying goes: When in doubt, go soak your...or something like that.

Evening after dinner for us. I think we just had what everyone says is the "perfect" soak.
We went out about 8:30pm tonight and the outside temp is in the 50's, tub is 101 degrees. It was absolutely perfect. I bought robes today so that's probably why it was so good...LOL! ;D

Just before bed for me..... However, a early morning soak is always very nice...
-
Still trying out different times. I liked the just before bed one, because it is so relaxing, but I'm also liking the before sunrise time.
Probably need to research this with more soaks at different times. ;D

Late night with the wife/family mostly, but weekend mornings are mine. Just finished a nice soak with a couple cups of coffee. The sun's not up yet but I have a busy morning today so I had to get an early start. paul

Just before bed.

I'm a just before bed soaker. I've soaked once in the morning but find that I since I soak before I go to bed I have a hard time getting up early. :)
-
Throw us in the "after dinner and early (before sunrise) on weekends" crowd. It's just so hard to wake up that early on weekends but man is it worth it.

late evenings before bed for us and Sunday mornings with coffee

Ditto to those who soak just before bed and on weekend mornings with a cup of coffee!! I love the relaxing feeling I get before the head hits the pillow but at the same time waking up in the morning and relaxing with a cup of coffee in the spa while watching a sunrise is pretty neat also.
-
definitely before bed for the wife and I. we both have big robes (just got them when the weather turned cooler), but as to what to wear in the tub, I still prefer my birthday suit. another fav time to soak is early saturday mornings when its still quiet. I dont honestly get very many quiet sat mornings, with 4 kids and a dog. besides, if i dont make it pretty early, i get to hear all the sounds of nature waking up. the red bellied south virginian leaf blower and the wild north american power saw, are just a couple of my favorite "sounds of nature". occasionally we get a few of those east coast screaming child at play, but luckily that is a rare specimen.
we have 2 teenagers who dont use the tub much anymore, but no worries, just means less water issues ;D. their lack of interest is MORE than made up for by our 3 yr old. as she iis now tall enought to stand in the footwell and just keep her head above water, the tub is now a "waterpark extrodinaire" as far as she is concerned. diving, splashing, swimming, etc.... ;D ;D
-
I would say that I enjoy soaking just before bed time the best. When you get out of the tub, you feel so relaxed. and you feel at ease. your muscles are relaxed. And of course when your relaxed and at ease, you sleep better! I do of coarse! ;D :) :D

Before bed unless I feel bad and then all bets are off. When I feel bad....that is the perfect time to get into the hot tub! It is the only thing that helps on some days. I sure am glad someone came up with the idea!!!!

Sucks all the nasty stuff right out of you. Always makes me feel better. Then, of course, a health dose of dichlor for the spa.
