First of all let me say that it's been below zero for the last three mornings in North Dakota. Yesterday the high was 11 above. I sell spas and fireplaces, we were so busy and had so many fireplaces burning, we actually had to prop the doors open and let some of the heat out of the store. Our little fireplace store was without a doubt the warmest place in all of North Dakota yesterday.
My coworker just got back from a week in Hawaii. She has been somewhat shell shocked by the temperature difference. In spite of this she agreed to assist me in an after hours product research study of a new Jacuzzi model we have on the floor (a wet test)
We locked the doors at 5:30, went across the street and purchased two bottles of wine. Before we left we opened the covers on the Jacuzzi 345 and the Coleman 471 in the showroom. When we came back the all the windows in the store had fogged up and no one could see in. I opened up the wine turned the lights off grabbed the remote for a fireplace and we preceeded to do our product research.
We started with the Jacuzzi, WOW what a powerful spa! I really liked all four seats in this spa. The spa is rated 4 to 5 and I feel it's nice and roomy for 4 people.
I didn't float in any of the seats. I can't get over the amount of pressure this spa has even with the diverters in the middle position. There are two diverters and had we not opened and drank the second bottle of wine I might be able to tell you exactly how they worked ???
We went back and forth between the Coleman 471 and the Jacuzzi three of four times each. I liked the pressure of the Jacuzzi jets but thought the Coleman was a much more comfortable spa. Machelle prefered the Coleman over the Jacuzzi and tended to float in the Jacuzzi (even before the we got drunk.
We try to have these product research seminars whenever we get a new model of spa on the floor(keeps us on our game) At 9:00pm I called my husband and he came and picked us both up and drove us home ::) BTW If you're reading this, Thanks Curt!
So here you have two happy (drunk) spa saleswomen who had a totally different opinion of two spas after a wet test. This shows how important a wet test is.
Tonight we have to ride for three miles on a float in a Christmas parade. It's a balmy 12 degrees and it's snowing right now 8) Hot chocolate, pepperment schnaaps and hottubbing I mean product research at the spa store after the parade. Did I mention I love my job. ;)

Is that all you spa salespeople do is drink and act silly? ::)

Well I've never heard of such goings on at work in all my born days. Shame, shame, shame....

I had a woman tell me that once as I was giving her a ride to the lock-up. ;)

T-man, it's probably a good thing we live so far apart, we would have way too much fun.
BTW did you know there are more guns than people in North Dakota.

We surely would, we surely would. I'll have to get the East Texas Spa Corporate Jet fueled up and come visit once I get out of jail.
As far as the gun-to-people ratio, North Dakota should be rename Shangi-La.

Since no one else is bringing it up, and I KNOW I'm not the only one who's mind is wandering (considering the company....), I'll do the honors:
Any tidbits or hints as to what happened BETWEEN the two drunk saleswomen themselves?....... ;)

Oh HELLLLLLL NO!!!! Just sounds like they had a little to much fun! That pic of the day I'd rather NOT see LOL

And we can't seem to get spahappy to respond to what may have really gone down that evening, so we're all left with our deprived imagination. :P
-
OK I was just starting to respond but had to wait on a hottub customer. First of all I don't play for both teams and neither does Machelle. We both like guys. Sorry to dash all your fantasies leaky.
Backpains you and Lori are definitely on the VIP list for the next product research seninar ::) ;D ;D Since Lori's from Oklahoma we'll wait till it warms up. It's 27 below zero with the wind chill here right now. I braved 11 below temps outside this weekend and went hottubbing in my spa for 45 minutes. It was great I felt like I was cheating mother nature. The neighbors must think I'm crazy.

That eliminates spahappy, brookenstein, backpains AND cappycat! Who do we turn to now?.....
-
Can you imagine spahappy's post if it were two guys
wet testing the spas after hours with 2 bottles of
wine behind steamed up windows? ::)
Give her a break and enjoy the picture that her story
conjures up. Women can get away with anything...
and I'm glad. It makes it more interesting for us guys. ;D
Sounds to me like it would be impossible to live in ND without a spa.

I think you sent that cold air down here, Spahappy! Supposed to be 15* F for in the morning in time to go to work, then stay 15* with intermittent snow until tomorrow night, with a temp of 8* F for Thursday morning! The wind chills are supposed to be below 0, and I am not looking forward to it!
I'm in for the next seminar! Guys, think what you want, but I don't play for both teams either!
