In about one hour four couples are coming over to check-out our hot tub. This is first time tub has had more than three people in it. Also great timing, water is due to be changed. I will be doing that Sun. morning. Temps for tonight are supposed to be about 25 degrees (F). Just checked tub, it's at 105, set for 104, water looks good, food and drinks are ready. Looking forward to great night.

I really do hope ya'll have a good time. Just be mindful of the alchohol intake as it will sneak up on you if you're not careful. Enjoy yourselves and be safe!

104 sounds to hot for a party. I would think around 100 would be better for people not used to a hot tub.

104 does seem high for the average person. Many people like it that temp but I guarantee a couple will find it too hot if you randomly put 5 or 6 people in it. You'd probably have to leave it open few minutes to cool it down. We keep ours at 101-102 when others go in and no one has ever considered it too hot.

Sure but they end up boring everyone with riveting conversations regarding bandwidth and pirating of IP addresses.

Well, how'd it go? ;D

Party went great! I had 7 to 8 in the tub all the time with people getting in/out. About three would not get in because they said it was to cold outside, about 35 degrees F, but after a while everyone was in tub. Constant overflowing, clouds of foam, two spilled drinks into tub (waste of good caribbean rum). Tub lost two degrees over 2 1/2 hours with all jets running, not bad.
We had two non-drinkers that took care of the driving after party, a couple stayed over! Pictures blurred because of steam coming off tub. Planning new years eve hot tub party, worried about water spilling and freezing, may have to take portable heater from one of our construction jobs and blast steps area??? Spent Sun, draing, cleaning, refilling, water is now crystal clear!

As opposed to cure times of epoxy or flow rates of the latest pumps? ;)
