Title: Has anyone ever had a Coast spa?
Post by: scubacurt on October 04, 2005, 08:36:38 pm
I'm looking to get my first spa.  I don't have a fortune to spend on one but I don't want to buy one and in 2 years start looking for another because of maintenance problems.  I've looked at a lot of different brands and one that is in stock, and has the features I like is Coast.  On the review page, nothing.  Does anyone know anything about these?  Thanks.

I think a very unhappy guy posted here in the last week or so.

Here is the thread

Well, it doesn't do much good now cause it looks like he took down the web page.  If my memory serves, he had rust on jets and a bunch of other problems and the spa was only a few months old.

Do a forum search.  Occasionally this brand gets mentioned.
Was it the supposed VP of Coast who tried to defend their company here a couple months ago?  Or was it some other fringe brand?  It was mostly concerning their policy of voiding their warranty unless you sent in registration paperwork during a short window of time, if I recall.

That was actually Gulf Coast, Brewman, a different company. :)
