I'll give you one guess, two at the most.

Poured today. 12x12 plus the little extra piece right outside the basement door. Electric to be finished tomorrow. Spa hopefully will make it on the truck from Canada on Monday. It was supposedly completed on the 29th (ordered the 16th). Maybe we'll have it by next weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't accept delivery until next weekend - give the concrete time to cure. The longer it sits the harder it becomes and the less likely the tub will damage it.
Also, if it's too hot >80F sprinkle water on it - it cures better.
Trust me on this ... I'm of Italian heritage!! :D

It's just at 80 now and probably near perfect curing weather. No way the spa makes it here before next weekend. Thanks!

I agree, we used to throw burlap bags on the concrete and sprinkle that to hold in the moisture.

Vinny, others...should you wait about a week after the slab has gone down before putting the hot-tub on it?

I would say - yes. The longer the better, concrete doesn't fully cure for a long time.

My husband can bring a Hot Springs with a Tammy included any time he wants. I would even pay extra if Tammy could occasionally get out of the hot tub and cook and clean, maybe mow the yard or take out the trash for me. :)

Brookenstien...I'm with you! We could all use a Tammy!! ;D

Nice avatar (or what ever they're called) I sat here and watched that little scene for five minutes justa gigglein. I can relate to how both of those penguines feel!
