Title: Maax Elite or Down East?
Post by: Bonibelle on September 07, 2005, 09:58:46 pm
Hello, I have been reading this forum for a little while and have decided to jump in and ask a few questions.  We would like to purchase a spa very soon that will serve mostly for therapy (I have Lyme disease and am hopeful that the heat will help), but also as a gathering spot to share time with our 2 teenagers. We live in the north east (just south of Phila) and we are also hoping that the spa will help us hold on to summer a bit longer since we could still go outside and enjoy being in the water long after the pool is closed! There...I have totally justified buying a Spa!
Since I am on a budget with this project, I have narrowed my search to
Down East Providence II model and Maax Elite premium 80. Do any of you have thoughts on these tubs that you would share to help me decide? Energy efficiency is also a priority. The prices I have obtained from local dealers are almost identical for these two models.  thanks ;D

I just put money down on a Down East East Hampton, about$8,500.

What price were you quoted for your Down East unit?

I only got a prices on a Providence II $6000. and then the dealer tried to direct me to the Cape Cod for $6300. Both models are smaller than the one you purchased.
