Title: Spa stereo ideas?
Post by: ca_newbe on August 28, 2005, 11:55:20 am
We didn't opt for the integrated stereo in the Vanguard but still want to be able to listen to music.

Curious if anyone has some good advise on this.

I'm thinking iPod driven system with a water resistant remote ( http://www.abtech2.com/iJet.php ).  Any thoughts on speakers?

Sharper Image has a real nice pair of remote outdoor speakers.  I just plug the transmitter into my stereo in the house(with the 300 CD changer) and then I can place the speakers on my spa bar attached to the side of my spa.  Very easy and portable.  I also use the speakers when I watch Monday Night Football from my spa.  The transmitter plugs into the headphone jack of my TV which is on a TV Stand mounted under the eave of my house.  The speakers can use batteries or just be plugged in.  They are also great when doing yard work or entertaining  outside.  Go to sharperimage.com if you want to see them.

We are offering as an alternative to spa stereos more of a outdoor sound system a denon receiver , CD/DVD player and 4 Yamaha outdoor speakers with a Sun cast garden cart to house the equipment in at 699.00 I think it offers far more value than any spa sound system as for the speakers we also offer Jamos which I feel are the best built of any outdoor speaker and have the best mounting hardware , the Yamaha's offer great value and I think are on a par with the Bose outdoor line.

Check this site out I got the 150.00 speakers and they are awsome. I hooked them up to my home system and put a outdoor volume control on the tub and it works great!!!
