Title: Dimension one Ultralife Shell
Post by: Wolf_Racer on August 26, 2005, 12:09:20 am
The Dimension one has an option for the UltraLife shell that has a "limited" lifetime warranty. In looking at the shell it does not seem as strong as an Acrylic shell that is very popular with the major spas.

Thoughts on this Ultralife Shell? It only comes in white. Is it strong? Will it really hold up better than an Acrylic shell? If there are problems (leak, crack, etc), is it harder to replace or fix since it not as strong?

Not sure I am sold on this UltraLife Shell and would appreciate some comments/feedback.

D1 also offers a more standard Acrylic shell.  I have heard/read that any Acrylic shell will show small cracks after 7 or 10 years. Not sure if that is accurate or not. I am trying to buy a spa that will last.

Thanks!

I've owned a chairman II now for about a 1 1/2 years now and I think the ultra lite shell is great.  It cleans very easily and we have had no problems with it.  It also looks very nice with the changing LED lights.
