Well after 22 years my Motor City Kitties are back in the world series.

Who would have thought that a manager pulled out of retirement, a 41 year old pitcher no one else wanted and a bunch of kids would pull it off

Being in Lakeshore near Windsor... we love it... all this excitement................Nothing like watching the game and soaking in a hot tub............

I'm happy for the Tigers, its a great baseball story, but if its the Cards, I will be cheering for them.    Not to take anything away from beautiful Comerica park, but I hope Detroit gets 2 foot of snow next week.

Just about every sport is extending their season chasing the all-mighty dollar. The series should be over the 2nd week in October, not just starting.   Remember when the NCAA bowl games ended Jan1, they snuck it out to the 2nd, 3rd, and last year the 5th.  The NFL use to end the season at the end of the year and the Superbowl was in January. Now its in February.

I know I should be rooting for a Canadian team (bluejays yuk !) but I grew up watching the tigers and will be a fan for life
