Why is it that Marquis or (Balboa) have only enabled the ozone to run during the filter cycle? Is there any reason that it should not run while you are in the spa with the main pump running?

from what I've heard from my dealer / service manager, there's a lot of concern "out there" about if ozone in a tub is good for the person (we know it's good for the tub).
Therefore, the happy medium is to only have ozone running while the circ pump is on, not once either pumps are turned on.
My Jacuzzi has a 10 minute delay before the ozone comes on. Obvioulsy, they're assuming that once you turn your jets off, you're getting out of the tub, which isn't the case for 95% of my tub time.
Hope that helps...
