Title: Yet another new owner
Post by: playswithfire on June 10, 2005, 12:53:17 pm
Hi Everybody,

I found this site about 2 weeks ago while reseaching spas. Let me tell you, this is the greatest help in the world. The search function works great.

My wife and I ended up ordering a Vita Spa Cabaret. We looked at all the available models in the area and really liked the dealer. We have friends that have had a Vita for 5 years and they love it. Several of the customers in the store that came by to pick up chemicals and whathaveyou all made comments about how great the staff is.

The Spa is  being delivered this afternoon. We had the electric ran yesterday and she's been staining the deck where it's going to sit.

We're both so excited, she's been wanting one for years to help with her back and neck. She actually got her Dr. to write a prescription for it so we don't have to pay sales tax here in FL.  :)

Anyways, I just wanted to say THANKS to everyone on the board. I've learned so much about spas from all of you.

Parties at my house tonight!!!

Jeff

A good referral is always the best choice to consider.  As you have learned, there are far too many thing to consider and evaluate when considering all of the differences when they all have the same Hot Water and beneficial enjoyment.

Now then, so that you wife is not shocked by all of those who will be showing up, you should let everybody know to not only bring their suit, but to rinse the soap out of it as well. ;D

Congratulation on getting into Hot Water, put a bottle of wine in the fridge. ;)

Thanks everyone.

We're still "waiting" for the truck to show up. Sometime between Noon and 4:00 they said.

As Tom Petty once sang; "The waiting is the hardest part"

Pkud, we're in Jax.

I almost got a cabaret, I could of gotten a sweet deal on one of the floor models. Lots of lights, the misters and its big, tons of jets.

The best part of it is that each seat seems to be very unique, probably dont get tired of moving from seat to seat and feel the different massages.

Let us know how you like it.

10:30PM!!! :o

OMG, I hope not.

I love the pics. It's funny because my wife just left to go to the store and she told our son to take pictures if it shows up before she gets back.

welcome to the best place in the world to find info on all the spas in the world! I can relate to your wife's back problems plays, I too suffer from what they are now calling "chronic back pain" and am so hoping my Coleman 461 (to be delivered the 26th of this month) will avoid me going under the knife again to install a pain pump in my back. Here's to hoping that your always in hot water and having tons and tons of spatopia fun!

WMCALL.

I think you must have jinxed me.

It's 6:30 and they're still not here. It has been raining off and on this afternoon. I called the store and they said the installers had the wrong directions but they were on their way.

I hope this doesn't end up being a 10:30 delivery.

I guess it goes with the territory!

The installers didn't show up until almost 9:00pm. We were the 5th install for the day. My wife was, how shall we say, PISSED! She calmed down once they got here though.

They got it placed on the deck and we started filling. I had read on here somewhere about having two hoses, so I borrowed my neighbors and it only took about an hour to fill.

The shop had run out of Cover Butlers, so we have to wait until next week for that. It's missing one of the filters and the filter cover, they must have stole it for someone else's spa!

I woke up before 7:00am this morning and ran out and jumped in. WOW, that was a great way to wake up. It's pouring rain now, thanks Arlene. It's cool sitting outside in the spa in the rain though.

I can see running out of a cover lift, as lots of folks buy those as add-on's after the fact.

But, no filters are lid on delivery? Doesnt anyone there bother to believe in quality control?
