I have been viewing hot tub websites religiously over the past 6 months. I have gone to store after store and wet tested many models. I narrowed my search down to sundance optima, jacuzzi J-385 and the arctic spas tundra.
After reading as much as I could and wet testing the products, I chose the arctic spas tundra signature series. I know that they dont seem to have the best reputation on this forum from what I have read.
I just want to say that I really have found this tub to suit my family needs. I was not attacked from sleezy sales pitches nither. I was not lured into believing they ruled the market on energy efficency, rather, I liked the feel and look.
I look forward to getting my tub and just wanted to say that this forum is very informative despite some that get carried away with slamming other products. I have alot to learn about hot tubs and look forward to getting to know people.
Being a police officer, I tend to isolate myself from people, but find it rather entertaining reading posts and seeing how people develop friendships in these forums.
Thats my two cents, thank you for reading and I look forward to learning so much from all of you.
Please, any input on Arctic other than the full foam debate and sleezy sales pitch would be greatly appreciated.
Take care

Welcome to the group.
If you are happy with your spa, that's what matters more than anything. Enjoy.

Welcome to the board Bosco!
We're better behaved than we used to be. Most of us anyway.
There are quite a few loyal Arctic folks on this site. It always gets interesting when Arctic is mentioned.
Stick around and keep us posted on your ownership.

welcome to the fun zone! i also surf other spa boards, but have personally found this one to be the most informative, and have learned alot.
congrats on your new spa. its a very subjective choice, so you got whats best for you, thats the bottom line.....
ironically there is a new post from yesterday about the caldera niagra test not really doing it for some one. after many wet tests over a couple of months, i bought a niagra and it was just delivered yesterday afternoon. so everyone has different tastes and needs
I left work a little early to get elec. hook up done, and naturally it started RAINING >:( :o15 minutes after i got home!!! torture!!
its still raining this morning, and if it doesn't quit by later today, i plan on putting up my picnic awning over me so i can finish the hook up....
DAMN THE TORPEDOS, FULL SPEED AHEAD!! I WILL BE IN HOT WATER BY THURSDAY NIGHT! wait.. that didn't come out right.... ;D ;DLOL
here's wishing you years of happiness and relaxation in your new spa.....

Read all of his posts very carefully, there are hidden messages in them. He has been known to create debates which get a bit Hot. Then he Springs on to another topic as if nothing happened.
