Title: Private messages
Post by: wmccall on January 10, 2005, 01:03:40 pm
By the way, the forum admins expect the same good behavior and restraint to be shown in private messages as well as in forum messages.

However, its ok if they are off topic.

No, so some people tend to be pleasant in the forum and issue vicious attacks in privatte.

For Example, in Drewski's thread, some people wanted to offer more private help and can exchange email addresses or phone numbers.

Dr. Johnny Fever did, and look where it got him!

(That was one of my favorite WKRP's.  The best one, though, was the infamous "Turkey Drop")

You know its funny what you can say/do on the air these days.   Back in the 60's there was a TV movie about the North Korean capture of the USS Pueblo where the entire crew is photographed giving the finger to the camera.   Now suddenly on TV a human middle finger has to be blurred out. I find that absurd.

"As G*d is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."  said Mr. Carlson.  classic TV.   :D
