Title: What I hate about hottubs
Post by: KC-SWO on December 30, 2004, 08:33:39 am
Well,  recently I have decided what I hate about hottubs:

Waiting to get them.

When I first bought my tub, I was happy.  Then the feeling changed to a bit of buyers remorse, while waiting for delivery.  This of course became elation when the tub finally arrived.  2 weeks of bliss followed.

Then I had a house fire.  (November 5, 2004)
For those that didn't see the earlier post, everyone is fine.  No one was hurt.  And our losses were relatively minimal, but did include our new BC750.

Well, I think the thing my wife and I miss the most is the tub!

They really have not made much progress on my house.
And now the Canadian winter weather is not helping much.

They have had my replacement tub in stock at my local dealer for 3 weeks now.  And I am still waiting on delivery.  I think the wait is worse this time.  We now know what we are missing.

(Sorry, I needed to rant)

As the recent king of the ranters, don't worry about it!  ;)

You went with the same model tub? Any problem with the insurance company?

Thanks for the update!

Besides, I think you are entitled to rant a little!

No problems with my insurance company.
(yet anyways)

My insurance is "replacement" insurance.
Since Beachcomber still makes the 750, there is no discussion.  They will replace it with exactly what I had.

The contractors have made some progress in the last week.  Brick work is now complete.  So is the roof.

Soon the new deck will be started......

I'm getting closer.
