Title: unhappy with rates for service?
Post by: Dr. Spa™ Ret. on December 29, 2004, 01:36:25 pm
Who ever opened up my roll-up door this morning didn't get it all the way open. One of my guys ran the fork lift into into the door..... cost to get the overhead door company out to fix it (they're about a mile from me)?

$195.00 for the first hour.

I had a customer in the store yesterday that was trying to fix a roll up door because the company wired it wrong. His ladder kicked out from under him and he fell hooking his pinky finger in one of the "v" channels for the track. He hit the ground and his pinky stayed about 6 foot up on the door! OUCH!   :o

This is one instance where he should have waited for the tech to return and pay the hourly to get it fixed!! :-X

BTW Chas, wouldn't that be called Overhead on your Overhead? ???
