Hi Elle.

I have two set's of filters for my Marques Euphoria. Yes monthly I rotate filters.

1st.  I spray the heck out of them in the slop sink with fresh water.

2nd. Soak them in the filter cleaner for a day or two.

3rd.  I spray them again with fresh water then run them through the dishwasher a few times or until there is no more foam in the bottom of the dishwasher.

4th. I put them in the basement to dry.

5th. Repeat in 30 days.

I have had zero problems with this method and my filters look like new.

Most filters - no. If they are the traditional, fiber-type which look like paper and feel like starched fabric, they will not last very long if you put them into the dishwasher.

If your filters are dw safe, and you ran a load of just filters, followed by a load empty, I figure that you won't be risking anything by using the dw.
