I have had my Optima for almost a month and now have a question. Every time I lift the cover, the ozonator is on and running. Should this run 24/7? I don't think that I have ever seen it not running. Also, I noticed yesterday that there is some dark brown stuff under the ozone outlet that extends across the bottom of the tub and up the foot dome. What is this stuff? (I haven't tried to clean it yet.)

It should run 24/7. The brown stuff is usually from the ozone. I forget how to clean it. I know on the Hotspring you just replace the grate, but I forget what to do for the Sundance. Any help?
