just for all of those that think southern california is nothing but sunshine, surfers, and great weather.... heres a reality check (even for us that live here)....
currently 43 degrees, rain and hail!
even had a couple of stretches of road been shut down due to "blizzard like" conditions.....
i know, its not as bad as what alot of people get (i know, lived in ohio for a few years) but for us, this is a big "winter" storm

Crikey! Watch out for those hailstones. Nigh upon 12 years ago, we had a bad storm that passed through Dallas with softball sized hail. One of 'em hit a fella upside his head and killed him dead! Be careful.

hail can be dangerous. luckily we rarely see such atmospherical conditions.
in other words........this storm really bites the big one ;D

I was in Orlando, Fl once and it started to hail. The hail that was falling was 3/4" to 1 1/2" in diameter ... not used to that size hail.
It was defening as it hit the cars and we had stopped to eat under a metal roof. :o

Well Socal, I guess your mostly wonderful weather rode north east on those winds Term was talking about the other day! We were in the 70's today and if there were leaves on the trees, I would have thought it was June.
We know this is only Mother Nature teasing us, but hubby actually admitted that he wasn't ready for summer yet...he loves soaking when it is really cold out!
I almost fainted...my husband HATES winter...I guess I should say hatED winter before we got our hot tub! ;D
