Title: A public apolgy to Sonny (ht-mod 'round here)
Post by: Steve on September 09, 2004, 12:06:15 am
Back a week or so ago, Sonny (the moderator) and myself had a disagreement of sorts. At the conclusion of my e-mail I told him that he was free to ban me if he felt it necessary. Shortly thereafter and unknowingly, the forum server went down. Well...the timing was such that I came to the conclusion of banishment. I have never seen this forum go down for longer than a couple of hours in the past couple of years and it was over a 3 day period that I attempted to "log on".

I sent Sonny my thoughts on his decision (in a Steve kinda way) ;D with both barrels.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for my conduct and for the way I spoke to you. I have been working on a personal e-mail for you, but I thought this might show the true embarrassment I'm sure you feel I deserve. I hope you except my genuine apology on this forum. You do a fine job of letting us do our thing and I speak for all of us when I say that we appreciate the opportunity to post, learn, debate, disagree and form friendships here.

My wife feels I’m not capable of apologies...if she only saw this!

It takes a big man to say sorry.

Now - what about your remarks about the Calgary Flames? :-)

I think you need to grovel a bit more....the apology is just lacking....how about saying I am sorry your Lordship Sonny.....or Your Majesty….or Oh Great and all Powerful One....what about dancing a jig.......or.....or.... ;)

Well, I'll add my apology too, then - as long as we're all in such good spirits. Here goes:

Dear HT-MOD,

I would also like to apologize for what Steve said in his e-mails.

There! I feel SOOOO much better now.

;)
