Title: Jacuzzi j245 vs Nordic Jubilee SE
Post by: Va7299 on July 15, 2018, 07:20:28 am
Hi.  Need some advice on a hot tub choice.  We've narrowed it down to 2 tubs.  Jacuzzi j245 vs nordic jubilee se.  Anyone have any insight?  We trust both dealers.  Each has been around over 30 years.  Thanks for any and all advice!

I sell Nordic as well as a couple other lines. Nordic makes a great no frills hot tub that we have found very reliable. Have you wet tested either?  What is pricing like on the 2?

Both are quoted at 6395 delivered and set up.  Cash price.  Pretty small area so no wet test unfortunately.  However we love simple hotel tubs so i think we will be pretty happy either way.

I don't know where the Nordic should be price wise, but that is a pretty good price on the J-245.   For the most part you are looking at apples to apples and would probably be happy with either one.

You are in the ballpark price wise on the Nordic. Lifter and step included in that price?  If not you should be able to get that included. I am a couple hundred cheaper with lifter and step

Ill inquire about the lifter and step for the Nordic.  They are included with the Jacuzzi.  Any insight on longevity of either brand?  Also my wife is looking on Wayfair at Lifesmart, Futura, and QCA spas.  The pricing is lower but I'm VERY hesitant on it.   I think buying from a local dealer may be better in a lot of ways like service and such.

Nordic addressed what I considered there 2 biggest flaws. One was addressed about 10 years ago the 2nd a few years ago. The insulation used to be pretty sub par in my opinion now with the Nordic wrap they are fairly efficient. My other complaint with them was the wood bottom. Now it’s a synthetic bottom. Nordic should last 10+ years. Would expect the same from
The Jacuzzi
