Title: 2010 Hotsprings Vanguard leakng
Post by: Jpoker on April 07, 2018, 11:19:47 am
Hey folks I hope someone can steer me in the right direction... I have a Hotsprigs Vanguard tub and I just noticed water at the lower right corner( to the right of the compartment door). Anyone tell me what to check? The pumps all work. It seem to start this after I just drained and cleaned 5he Spa. I was wondering if it may be 5he seals on the jet pumps. Any ideas?
Jim

Remove the equipment door and inspect the area for water.  If it is the pumps, it should be fairly obvious.  Check with the pumps on and off.  Also make sure both drain caps are on tight.

Well it appears to be great right drain cap. My wife say the drippingwhen she cleaned around 5he spa and checked it. It was very loose. Tighten it up and stopped. Funny thing is I never use these drains. I use a sump pump.  Must have wiggled loose over the past 7 years :)

Don't feel bad!  Most of the calls I get involving "leaks" are simply the drain cap being to loose or someone lost the o-ring on the inside of the drain cap :)
