Title: Canopy over the optima!
Post by: sobe on August 24, 2004, 01:12:40 pm
Considering putting a canopy over the hot tub, anyone have any suggestions or online sources.
Do remember seeing some pics a while back of an optima with a canopy ( might have been caliconc) but not sure.

Are you looking for something like a Gazebo, Awning or umbrella.  Lots of sources for either.  We started carying these this year.  Got the pics from Doc's Site.

Looking for more like a gazebo with a canvas top.
Saw a similar gazebo at Costco but they do not carry them anymore.

Huh? Costco?  It won't be a premium product and you won't get any dealer support with that  ;D

Sobe, we put up a canvas w/metal frame gazebo over our spa.  Its open on sides.  Walmart has one 10x10 that looks very similar for $99.  Ours can be adjusted for height.  They make a $30 one too but it might not be sturdy enuf to just leave up till winter.  If you want to see a pic of ours again, just pm me and I will send it.

Sobe-
I've seen lots of those aluminum/canvas canopies around the stores this season.  Although it may be a little late now to find much.  If you are looking for something inexpensive try the Christmas Tree shop, Target, Boscovs(had selection), etc.    Not much of a selection this time of year - but probably great deals.  good luck - hope you're enjoying your Optima.
