I have an Artesian Onyx 2004 model spa. Artesian is very difficult with which to get in touch, but I did manage to speak to someone there. My heater is out and he told me that the manufacturer of the heater that was used in my spa was no longer in business and, therefore, I could not get a replacement heater for the tub. My repair man told me my only option was to replace all the controls for the tub along with the heater, that a different heater could not be wired into my existing control panel.
So, I have, I guess, two questions, first, is what I'm being told from my repair person correct...is there no way to not have to replace $1,500 worth of electronic just to install a new heater? Secondly, assuming the manufacture is correct about the heater supplier (I'm sorry, I can't remember the name of the heater company, so, I'm hoping someone on here already knows what I'm talking about) does anyone know of a place where a used, working heater can be purchased?
