I haven't seen this subject addressed, at least not lately.
I was planning to build a deck around my spa, but I just don't have the time.
I started looking into buying steps or "Surrounds" and found two companies that make them. Sylvan Woods in CA and A & B Accesories in AR.
Does anybody have experience with either of these companies?
Do they make good quality products?
If you bought a surround, what style did you buy?
Thanks.

Spa settings makes amazingly nice wood products. They are not all that cheap, but they are high quality.
Sylvan Woods makes cheap wood products that are a good value for the price. I have sold both, and Sylvan woods seems to always satisfy. We sell more Sylvan than any other, and we offer about five different lines. Their steps use the poor quality wood, but always with the bad side facing down so they look fine. This apparently allows them to save the best wood for the gazebos and such, and keep costs in line. It works.
BTW - Sylvan is now the distributer for Spa Settings. They are great people to work with, I have known them for over a decade.

A and B Accessories does excellent work. They are a very high quality product. I agree that Sylvan Woods is a good value for the price, but quality wise doesn't compare to A and B.

It was a little difficult finding A&B's website, so here you go. Nice stuff.

Thanks for the help guys.
I finally decided after researching this a bit that it is very expensive to buy an "over-the-counter" set, and besides, they don't do what I want (I want a deck to sit on to cool off while dangling my legs in the spa).
So, I'm either going to build one myself when I have more time or hire someone to do it for me.
