I have had my J480 for a few years now and it has work flawless. Now I seem to be having a issue with overheating. I open the tub yesterday and it was at 108....
It has been very hot the last week and the temp would climb well above set point but never that high. If I recall the circulation pump would shut off if the temp got too high above the set point, but my circulation pump seems to be running 24/7. Any ideas?

I would do a partial drain and cool it down. Check the circ pump setting and set the temp to 90 and see if it holds, if not you may have a bad temp sensor. Does the water feel like 108 or put thermometer in and check.

Got the temp down to 96 (my temp set point) by adding cold water and the circulation pump shut off. My filter times are still on default (run for 8 hours stating at midnight) didn't change anything. Maybe it was just stuck ?
It's now 7pm and it got up to almost 100 outside and the water temp has stayed at 96 and circ pump is still off.

Was reading the manual:
summer logic: In warm weather, the water temperature in the spa may exceed the set temperature. This condition may occur due to heat transference from the circulation pump and jets pumps. If the water temperature is higher than 95°F (35°C) and rises two degrees above the set temperature, a “Summer Logic” condition occurs that deactivates the circulation pump.
