Title: Beech comber 340 start up issue
Post by: M5hardy on March 25, 2016, 05:03:17 pm
Anyone please help,

Went to start up my tub for the first time l. Followed the instructions.  Flicked the power on and just got a countdown on the display that just keeps counting up and down from around 104 (random) to 80 and back up?. No lights, no pumps, no heat.

This is my second beachcomber and the last one just worked?

Help anyone?!?

What does the panel do right when the power is turned on?  It should cycle through some screens and indicate voltage then start the pump to prime

Just starts this odd count down clock.

I initially thought it was some kind of start up process but couldn't find any literature saying it would do this.

So the 80-104 is the temperature range. In the UK so we work on C.

Leave it on and nothing happens??

Do I need to do a reset?

Do you have a hush pump?   The prime on startup is 4 minutes and tubs with no hush pump the jet pump will turn on after this 4 minute prime.  Did you try selecting the temp button during this count down?  And I am assuming the tub is full correct

I think it has the hurst pump.

When I turn it on it just continues to count.

Hot tub is full, tried pressing the pump buttons but it just carries on counting up and down.

Very frustrated by what should be a simple process!
