Title: 2008 HotSprings Sovereign
Post by: shsa on March 15, 2016, 01:38:03 am
Hello,

I have a local company that is selling a used Hotspring Sovereign, first of all I love that this hottup works with 110, it is great to be able to plug and play, and since I am living in a rental I dont want to go through the trouble of getting an electrician for the hottub.

The price they are asking is $2,200. + Delivery & Tax. I would like to get your opinion on this item. I have never bought a hottub before and this will be my first purchase. I have done some research on the internet. I found basic lists that i should go over on the internet similar to this one. http://www.spadepot.com/spacyclopedia/used-hot-tubs.htm

I also would like the experienced hot tub users and buyers on this website. Is there anything you would recommend. Do any of you have feedback on this make and model?

Are there any other hottubs you might recommend? (nothing a lot more than 4-5k. )

Thanks in advance.

A new Sovereign is a $10,000+ tub, I doubt you will find anything in the $5,000 ballark that even comes close.  All things considered I would probably try talk them down another $100-$200, or throw in free delivery.

Check into the electrical a bit more. You may need a DEDICATED (meaning nothing else, no other outlets on the circuit) 20 amp (most are only 15 amp) circuit.
