Title: help a novice? what this black box

hi all

I have just taken delivery of a secondhand hydropool. I didn't see it working and am just filling it up for the first time.
in the "engine bay" I noticed a black box, with DEL and I think ozone generator, problem is looks like one of the tubes has sheared off...are these important, expensive to replace...

any other tips on commissioning for the first time?

that would be the ozone generator. Not needed, but should be fixable... Course, they really only put out any ozone for a year or two, so it's probably doesn't really do anything anyways.

yes you are correct, managed to remove it, are there cost effect replacements? cheers rob.

Dr Spa (ret) going off topic, do you know anything about the built in ice buckets next to the filter, mine fills with water? this this right? can find anything in the manual?

just to update,
I ended up buying a replacement from del, new chips were half the price of a complete new system, I bought DEL, thanks for the advice...cheers rob.
