Taking delivery of my 2015 J470 Platinum/Teak tomorrow. I've been doing research and found that older models required some modifications to enable 60amp mode.
I can see that I have to set dip switches in the control panel to set 60amp mode per the user manual, but is that it. I know prior models needed some changes in an engineering mode in the J-1000 control, but the 2015 has the J400 protouch controller. Does this require something special as well or just the dip switch settings.
Any ideas?

On the J 1000 controller you it through the keypad. No dp switches.

The 2015 doesnt come with the J1000 anymore. Its a new controller the ProTouch. I know for a fact per the manual there are dip switch settings for 60amp, but what I can't determine is if there are additional things you need to do on the protouch controller

Good luck with your Jacuzzi delivery. Hope you break the cycle: Robrob - damaged, Amy - wrong color, mine - damaged. All Jacuzzi, but loving mine now.

If they have in-fact changed it and there are jumpers/dp switches my guess is that's all that will need to be done. We are no longer a Jacuzzi dealer but I didn't hear about any changes prior to that, which has only been a few weeks. You said in a PM your dealer isn't very helpful, but for 13000 dollars or more (guessing) they should be. ;)
