Title: Where to put a hot tub
Post by: wt21 on September 22, 2015, 06:32:29 pm
The location where we would like to put our hot tub is next to our deck. It will be in full sun most of the day, from about 10am through 5-6pm during the summer (shorter in the winter).

We are not planning any kind of gazebo roof, etc.

Are there any issues with that approach? We'll have a cover, so I'm assuming there shouldn't be any chemical issues. So, the UV from the sun might break down the hot tub cover and the surround more quickly.

Anything else? Is there a recommendation as to where to put an outdoor hot tub regarding sun, covers, etc?

303 protectant will help your cover last longer and will keep the cabinet looking good too.

Consider view versus entry exit ease. And use silicon based cleaner/protectant (like 303) on your cover and skirt as mentioned.
