Ordered new tub a week ago... I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Got the electrical upgraded to 50A today. My old tub only needed 30A service.
Old tub drained and disconnected, ready to go to to hot tub graveyard.
Getting the backyard cleaned up and ready.
Tearing out some landscaping that's old and overgrown to make it easy for delivery guys. Will replace with something fresh and new once it's delivered.
Made a dump run.
All this work makes me sore and really need a soak lol.

TUESDAY TUESDAY TUESDAY!
Or so I'm told... Truck supposed to be at the dealer on Monday... Delivery to my backyard paradise on Tuesday!
-
Damaged in shipping... the waiting continues... :(
-
Been a rash of that. Seems a logistics expert is needed.
-
Nooooo! I know all too well the feeling when you've been waiting for "THE BIG DAY" for delivery and then it is a disappointment! I'm so sorry you had this happen too. What options have they given you?
-
They offered a discount to accept the flaw along with doing as much of of repair as the could to minimize it. Had it been on the rear or left side, this would have been acceptable as it's in a corner and it wouldn't be seen. But it's right on the front side. I decided to reject the tub, and the spa shop guy agreed, if it was his tub, he wouldn't want it either. He's going to order another one and hope to get it expedited. Will hope to have an ETA tomorrow.

Is it a jacuzzi?
-
Not Jacuzzi. Bullfrog. Like I said to the guy at the shop, I'm bummed and disappointed, but I understand that shit happens. It's how they deal with it that will shape my opinion of them.

So it was a corner cabinet that was damaged? Cabinets parts can be replaced.
-
The cabinet and the acrylic tub edge. Cabinet no big deal, just replace the panel. But the tub edge was dinged up. Thought he could buff it out but it was more than that, there's material missing, so would have to be filled, colormatched and stuff... would never be 100%.
-
That's a real bummer. I wouldn't have taken it either, you ordered a new tub so you should get a new, undamaged tub. Hopefully they can get a new one quickly and they will compensate you fairly for the inconvenience and disappointment.
-
Quite a rash of damaged hot tubs coming in on this forum lately. Hopefully you get your new tub sooner then later.

Damaged in shipping... the waiting continues... :(
This seems to be happening often to people on this site. Are they using the Dukes of Hazard Shipping Company?
-
Waiting once is bad enough... waiting twice will make you crazy lol. It's like two kids waiting for Christmas, and Christmas morning all you get is a note from Santa saying you have to wait till next month.
The one good thing of it was we were able to get the old fence replaced so now don't have to worry about the tub being in the way or having the fence fall over on it lol.
It's in transit.. should be at the dealer today or tomorrow... and in my backyard ASAP :D

I think they are all Jacuzzi's as well.

Or the right google search brings up this site due to all the posts regarding this.

I also should have know it was a Bullfrog spa, my memory just isn't what it use to be. To much fun in my younger years :'( ;D
