Most here recommend sticking with the Taylor test kits.

I own the LaMotte Color Q 7 and have been using it about a year.  I like it.  I have found when occasionally taking a sample to the pool store that my results are right in line with theirs on the Bromine, PH and ALK, but my results are always different from theirs on the calcium hardness.
