Title: Information on tub needed

Have just bought a new house and a new hot tub is included, the problem is the sides of the tub are not rigid like the inside, just some soft material wrapped around. Not knowing anything about hot tubs, would appreciate any help on figuring this out

Why there is no hard shell around the tub, just some material, hiding the underside. just never seen one like this and wondering if you are supposed to build a frame around it or ?

Without knowing what you have, other than a hot tub, it probably was designed that way.
