In preparation for new tub nestled in a new deck, I'm turning my thoughts to what the tub will sit on. It will rest on or close to ground with only a foot or so sticking up through deck. I live in Maine e.g. snow, ice and cold. What is the most stable and cost effective set up to place a tub? Gravel? Cement footers with pressure treated beams? Thanks for the help
