Title: Price check, 2014 Envoy
Post by: trichert on January 17, 2015, 07:38:40 pm
This seems a bit high to me based on what I've read but the market may have changed.  My dealers bottom dollar offer to me is $11,749 for a 2014 Envoy with cover cradle, cheap steps  and delivery.  No ACE or other options.  I'm thinking that this feels about $1,500 high (oh this is a floor model also).

You  might have some wiggle room, make an offer see what happens.   Worse case is they say no, then it's up to you to accept or move on ta something else in your budget.

Like Jim said if you believe it to be $1,500 high then pull out the checkbook and offer $1,500 less...he'll either accept it, deny it, or come back and "meet you in the middle"  good luck

I agree, he may be expecting you to counter and there certainly is nothing wrong with doing so. Make the offer and offer to pay by check if willing because it'll save on CC fees for the store.
