Title: Chas on vacation

I'll be out of town and off the boards for about a week starting Saturday the 26 th of June.

If you will kindly excuse me, I have to go wash and wax the truck, get the oil and trans fluid changed, clean out and pack the trailer, go to Sam's Club and buy a huge load of food, put the patio furniture and ice chests in place, rent a generator, clean out the tanks, flush and fill the fresh water, find the sheets that fit the funny-shaped bed in the back, fill up on gasoline at $2.50 per gallon, pick up a map, plan the route, and then rush off so we can relax for a few days before I come home and clean all the road grime and bugs off the truck and trailer, empty all the dirty clothes and leftover food, empty and flush the tanks, refill the LP tanks, return the generator, edit and print all the pictures, repair any damage and clean out the dirt and dust we tracked in before I put the trailer away, and then tell you all what a nice "break" I had.

I don't work this hard at home! Hmm...

We survived! Daughter and cousins hiked half-dome, but had to stop just short of the famous cables due to a thunderstorm, but we had a great time.
