Title: Ozanator leak
Post by: ramone on August 11, 2014, 07:43:06 pm
Ok so the dealer said they would come out in a few days what ever the heck that means, Dynasty ?? Live and learn
Is a check valve and flow valve the same thing.
There is a clear tube that connects to the bottom of the ozanator, befor this had water flowing through it into the ozanator, about 8 in from where it connects there is a little grean flow valve the arrow befor was pointing towards the ozanator, so I pulled it off and flipped it around so the arrow now is pointing away from the ozanator,   ANY THOUGHTS, thanks so much for all your replys

you just fixed it, the arrow points the direction of flow and allows suction to pull O3 into the water.  Backflow is prevented by the "check valve", that is when it is installed correctly.

But, if the ozonator got wet, why didn't your breaker trip?   ??? :o

And why didn't the spa drain out through the ozonator?

Thanks so much to you all this forum is the best. I think I did fix it, seems to be running very well.
The breaker did trip many times, so it is doing its job.
The tub would have drained out bit I seen the water was down a bit and just disconnected the line and plugged it. I hope that answers your questions.
Thanks again

If the ozone generator got wet it is probably junk.
